“Alireza Tarkhan, Master’s Student in Sports Sociology”
Alireza Tarkhan, a master’s student specializing in Sports Sociology, is proudly among the recipients of the Alborz Award. With extensive experience in performance analysis for national and club teams, as well as championship titles in student competitions, he has rightfully earned this honor. Tarkhan attributes his progress to focused planning and the ability to learn from setbacks. The 63rd Alborz Award ceremony took place on May 4th this year, with distinguished attendees including Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, and Dr. Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge,Based Economy.
In this edition, Dr. Ali Akbar Mousavi Movahedi, a faculty member at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, received the Outstanding Scientist Award in Basic Sciences. Dr. Mohammad Abdolahad from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Tehran was honored in the “Technologists and Inventors” category.
Among the student awardees from the University of Tehran were Alireza Tarkhan (Master’s in Sports Sociology), Reza Rabiei (Master’s in Safety, Health, and Environment Engineering), Mohammadamin Zandifar (Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business), Mohammad Javad Samiei Zafarghandi (Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering), Mohammad Hassan Ghodousi Nejad (Ph.D. in Energy Systems Engineering), Farzad Mohammadi (Ph.D. in Biosystems Mechanical Engineering), and Sara Hasanvand (Ph.D. in Food Science and Engineering).
Additionally, Mohammad Sedaghat Jahromi, an alumnus specializing in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Tehran, and Rasoul Nasiri, CEO of a leading knowledge-based company located within the University of Tehran’s Science and Technology Park, were honored as distinguished technologists and inventors.
